Jigsaw Business Contact Privacy Statement

This Jigsaw Business Contact Privacy Statement describes Jigsaw's privacy practices for Business Contact Information listed in the Jigsaw Directory. To learn more about Jigsaw's privacy practices regarding Jigsaw Members and Web Site Visitors, click here.

Overview

The Jigsaw Directory contains Business Contact Information and Company Information from a variety of sources. Most Jigsaw Directory information comes from Jigsaw Members. However, Business Contacts may add themselves to the Jigsaw Directory, and Jigsaw may, from the time, supplement the Jigsaw Directory with publicly available information or with information from trusted data providers who are legally authorized to provide such information.

Jigsaw notifies individuals when they are added to the Jigsaw Directory via email to permit them the opportunity to opt out of being listed in the Jigsaw Directory. Also, at any time, individuals can check to see if they are listed in the Jigsaw Directory by clicking on "Are You in Jigsaw?"

Definitions

Business Contact Information includes an individual's name, title, company, work phone number, work email address, and work address that is listed in the Jigsaw Directory.

Company Information includes a company's name, address, Web site (URL), phone number, industry classification, employee range, revenue range, and stock exchange and ticker symbol information (for publicly traded companies) that is listed in the Jigsaw Directory.

The Jigsaw Directory is Jigsaw's database of Company Information and Business Contact Information.

Jigsaw Members are individuals who sign-up for Jigsaw's services and add (and maintain) the records on the Jigsaw Directory. Important note: signing up as a Jigsaw Member does not automatically add your data to the Jigsaw Directory.

Web Site Visitors are individuals who visit the Jigsaw Web site, whether or not they decide to sign up for Jigsaw's services or are listed in the Jigsaw Directory.

Information Collected

The Jigsaw Directory contains Business Contact Information and Company Information from a variety of sources. Non-business information, such as home phone numbers and addresses and mobile phone numbers are not permitted in the Jigsaw Directory.

Notice

When new Business Contact Information is added to the Jigsaw Directory, Jigsaw sends such individuals an email notification that provides an overview of Jigsaw, the types of information Jigsaw maintains, how the Jigsaw Directory is used, Jigsaw's contact information, and instructions on how to be removed from the Jigsaw Directory.

Choice

Individuals may choose to have their Business Contact Information removed from the Jigsaw Directory. Individuals may opt out of the Jigsaw Directory by responding to the email notifying them that they have been added to the Jigsaw Directory, by following the instructions at "Are You in Jigsaw?" or by contacting privacy@jigsaw.com.

Onward Transfer

Jigsaw notifies individuals that their Business Contact Information has been added to the Jigsaw Directory and may be used by third parties to contact them. Jigsaw offers such individuals the opportunity to opt out of having their Business Contact Information available in the Jigsaw Directory by clicking on "Are You in Jigsaw?" or by contacting privacy@jigsaw.com.

Access

At any time, individuals may see if their Business Contact Information is listed in the Jigsaw Directory and the contents of such Business Contact Information by clicking on "Are You in Jigsaw?" or by contacting privacy@jigsaw.com. Additionally, individuals may update or request the removal of their Business Contact Information in the Jigsaw Directory by clicking on "Are You in Jigsaw?" or by contacting privacy@jigsaw.com.

Security

Jigsaw uses reasonable security controls to protect Business Contact Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access.

Data Integrity

Jigsaw limits Business Contact Information available in the Jigsaw Directory to information typically found on a business card, including name, title, company, work phone number, work email address, and work address. Non-business information, such as home phone numbers and addresses, and mobile phone numbers are not permitted in the Jigsaw Directory.
